Spicy Mackerel

Ingredients

  • Canned Mackerel in Oil 2 pieces
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Mayonnaise 4 tablespoons
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the eggs, grate them finely, add minced garlic (in my opinion, 4 cloves is too much, I used 2) and mayonnaise (sour cream is better and creamier). Mix the mixture well. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Clean the fish, wash it, and dry it with paper towels. Make cuts on the back down to the backbone.

Step 3

Slice the lemon into half-rings. Generously coat the prepared mackerel with the egg mixture. Insert lemon slices into the cuts on the back.

Step 4

Place our fish in 'coat' into a preheated oven at 355°F for 25 minutes (adjust according to your oven).
