  • Onion 1 head
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Grated Ginger 1 teaspoon
  • Tomatoes 6 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil 0.5 tablespoons
  • Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander 2 teaspoons
  • Turmeric 1 teaspoon
  • Chili Flakes a pinch
  • Dry yeast 1 teaspoon
  • Red Lentils 4 tablespoons
  • Coconut cream 5 fl oz
  • Broccoli 1 head
  • Canned chickpeas 15 oz
  • Spinach 5 oz
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Toasted sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
  • Cashews 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Blend the onion, garlic, ginger, and tomatoes in a blender until pureed.

Step 2

Heat the oil in a large skillet.

Step 3

Add the spices, sauté for a few seconds, then add the puree and yeast.

Step 4

Cook for 2 minutes, then add the lentils and coconut cream.

Step 5

Cook until the lentils soften, then add the broccoli and cook for 4 minutes.

Step 6

Add the chickpeas and spinach. Squeeze in the lemon juice.

Step 7

Add the sesame seeds and cashews. Mix well. Serve with brown rice if desired.
