Spicy Chicken Wings with Potatoes
Ingredients
- Salt 0 lbs
- Water 2 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise 3 tablespoons
- Basil to taste
- Marjoram to taste
- Tarragon to taste
- Curry to taste
- Passata Tomato Sauce 3 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce 3 teaspoons
- Duck wings 0 lbs
- Salad Potatoes 5 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take the chicken wings and 4–5 potatoes. Rinse the wings and marinate them by placing them in a large bowl, adding your favorite spices (I added ginger, nutmeg, paprika, ground chili pepper (they are spicy!), coriander, 3 heaping teaspoons of regular mustard, a tablespoon of honey, salt, and a couple of tablespoons of water. Mix and let marinate (I let them sit for five and a half hours).
Step 2
Cut the potatoes into small wedges. Line a baking sheet with foil, brush it with a thin layer of vegetable oil, and place the wings on it. Coat the potatoes with the remaining marinade and place them as well.
Step 3
Cover the baking sheet with foil and put it in the oven for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: in one bowl, add mayonnaise, basil, marjoram, tarragon, curry, and mix everything. In another bowl, add ketchup or thick tomato paste, 1–2 teaspoons of soy sauce, and basil, and mix everything.
Step 5
Then take out the baking sheet, remove the foil, and coat part of the wings with the mayonnaise sauce and part with the tomato sauce. Put it back in the oven for another 10–15 minutes to brown.
