Spicy Chicken Baked in Foil
Ingredients
- Poultry 1 piece
- Cinnamon ⅓ teaspoon
- Apple Wine 5 fl oz
- Grated Ginger Root ½ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the cleaned chicken, rub it with spices, salt, and sugar.
Step 2
Place the chicken in a sturdy whole plastic bag, pour in the wine, tightly tie the bag, and shake it well.
Step 3
Put the chicken in the refrigerator for a day, or better for several days. Occasionally take out the bag with the chicken, shake it, and turn it over.
Step 4
Remove the chicken from the bag. Wrap it in several layers of foil and bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 40 minutes.
Step 5
Unwrap the foil. Pour the marinade sauce over the chicken and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown, periodically basting with the juices.
Step 6
Serve with boiled potatoes.
Step 7
Drain the released juices into a dish and serve separately.
