Spicy Black Beans
Ingredients
- Olive Oil to taste
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Onion 2 heads
- Dried Chili Pepper 3 tablespoons
- Ground Cumin 3 tablespoons
- Apple Cider Vinegar 3 tablespoons
- Brown Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Canned tomatoes 30 oz
- Canned black beans 30 oz
- Rice to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a deep skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté the garlic and onion until soft.
Step 2
Add the chili and cumin, sauté for a few more minutes, then pour in the apple cider vinegar, add the sugar, chopped tomatoes, and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add the beans and simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve with rice or bread.
