And also various spices to taste (I don't add them, but I love a lot of garlic).
Ingredients
- Rice 20 oz
- Olive Oil to taste
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Ginger 0 oz
- Fresh basil leaves a pinch
- Passata Tomato Sauce 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the rice as usual (I prefer it slightly undercooked). Drain the water.
Step 2
Add olive oil to the pan along with finely chopped garlic and ginger.
Step 3
Once it releases its aroma (do not overcook), add the rice.
Step 4
Stir and add the tomato paste, season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Finally, sprinkle with basil.
