Sole Roll with Salmon
Ingredients
- Mayonnaise to taste
- Soy Sauce to taste
- Lemon ½ piece
- Dill 1 bunch
- White Pepper (whole) to taste
- Salt to taste
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- White bread 5 oz
- Salmon 5 oz
- Dried Nori Seaweed 3 pieces
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Sole fillets 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the salmon into slices and drizzle with lemon juice. Let it marinate.
Step 2
In hot butter, sauté finely chopped garlic and diced onion. Cut the sole fillet into large pieces and pass through a meat grinder. Combine the sautéed onion with the minced fish and add the soaked bread. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and crack an egg into the mixture. Mix well and pass the filling through the meat grinder again.
Step 3
Place foil on a sushi mat. Lay a sheet of nori on top and spread an even layer of the filling. Place the salmon in the center, sprinkle with chopped dill, and roll it up using the mat. Twist the ends of the foil.
Step 4
Bring water to a boil in a pot. Place the rolls in and cook for 10 minutes. Remove from the water, cool, unwrap the foil, and cut into portions. Serve with a sauce made from equal parts mayonnaise and soy sauce.
