Soft Corn Puree
Ingredients
- Butter 0 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Fresh corn 2 pieces
- Sugar a pinch
- Nutmeg to taste

Step 1
Melt the butter in a medium-sized pot. Once the butter starts to sizzle, add the onion and reduce the heat slightly. Sauté for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked and the onion becomes soft.
Step 2
Then add the corn and 4 tablespoons of water (to prevent sticking). Mix everything well and cook for 10 to 12 minutes until the corn is soft and tender. Once the dish is nearly ready, add sugar to taste, seasonings if appropriate, and nutmeg – it will give the dish a unique flavor.
