Shrimp in Spicy Sauce

Ingredients
- King Prawns 16 pieces
- Onion 2 heads
- Tomato Puree 0 fl oz
- Ground coriander 0 fl oz
- Turmeric 0 fl oz
- Mild Chili Spice 0 fl oz
- Ground ancho chili pepper 3 pieces
- Cilantro 0 fl oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Cotton Oil 0 fl oz
- Salt 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Process the onion, tomato puree, ground coriander, turmeric, chili powder, 2 green chili peppers, 30 ml of chopped cilantro, lemon juice, and salt in a food processor for 1 minute.
Step 2
If the mixture seems too thick, dilute it with a small amount of water.
Step 3
Chop the remaining green chili pepper and set it aside for garnishing the dish.
Step 4
Heat the oil in a deep skillet.
Step 5
Reduce the heat, add the spicy mixture to the oil, and sauté for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 6
Add the peeled shrimp to the sauce and sauté, stirring, over medium heat until they are heated through, but do not overcook them.
Step 7
Transfer the shrimp and sauce to a serving dish, sprinkle with fresh chopped cilantro (15 ml) and green chili (1 piece), and serve immediately.
