Description
Hearty, quick, and delicious. The filling can be any type of ground meat, but it's best to use beef or a mix of beef and pork. The peas can also be fresh or frozen. Adjust the amount of salt in the filling to taste; the potatoes should not be overly salted. It can be served with sour cream.
Ingredients
- Ground meat 20 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Green Peas 5 oz
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Salt 2 teaspoons
- Scallions 2 stalks
- Cheshire Cheese 5 oz
- Salad Potatoes 0 lbs
- Butter 0 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Milk 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the main ingredients.
Step 2
Pour vegetable oil into a skillet and heat it.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion.
Step 4
Add it to the skillet.
Step 5
Dice the carrot.
Step 6
Add it to the onion.
Step 7
Sauté until golden brown.

Add the ground meat to the vegetables.

Mix well.

Season with salt to taste.

Cover and simmer until the meat is cooked through.

Peel and wash the potatoes.

Boil them, adding 1 teaspoon of salt.

Drain the water and add butter to the hot boiled potatoes.

Then add 1 egg.

Mash into a puree and add warm milk, then mix until smooth.

Spread the meat and vegetable mixture in a baking dish.

Top with the mashed potatoes.
