Shark baked with vegetables

Ingredients

  • White Shark 20 oz
  • Lemon ½ piece
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Potato 1 piece
  • Safflower Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Green peppercorns 10 pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Cardamom 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the shark steaks, rinse them, remove the backbone and skin (if desired). Drizzle with lemon juice, season with salt, and sprinkle with spices.

Step 2

While the fish is salting, prepare the vegetables. Slice the onion into half-rings or rings. Cut the tomato into thin rounds. Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and slice it into pieces the same length as the onion.

Step 3

Sauté the onion in vegetable oil for 3 minutes, then add the bell pepper and continue to sauté for another 2–3 minutes.

Step 4

Place the sautéed onion and pepper in a baking bag. Then add the fish. Top with slices of tomato.

Step 5

Seal the bag, make a few holes in the top, and bake in an oven preheated to 390°F for 20 minutes, then open the bag and bake for another 10 minutes uncovered (if desired).
