  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Shallots 4 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil to taste

Mix the wine with the flour until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cut the shallots in half crosswise. Dip them into the batter and fry in oil in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to paper towels; sprinkle with salt.
