Ingredients
- Toasted Sesame ¼ cup
- Black sesame seeds ¼ cup
- Bonito tuna fillet 4 pieces
- Black sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
- Red Currant 10 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Napa Cabbage 10 oz
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Green Peas 10 oz
- Teriyaki sauce for stir-fry to taste
- Rice to taste
- Sweet Chili Sauce to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a plate, mix both types of sesame seeds and coat the tuna steaks on all sides, pressing lightly.
Step 2
Heat the wok well over high heat and sear the steaks on both sides for about 3 minutes each for medium doneness. Transfer to a plate.
Step 3
Reheat the wok with sesame oil over high heat. Add both finely shredded cabbages, julienned carrots, sliced onion, diced bell pepper, and peas. Stir-fry over high heat for 2 minutes, then add teriyaki sauce to taste.
Step 4
Place the steaks on plates, add the vegetables and cooked rice alongside. Drizzle with chili sauce and serve.
