Ingredients

  • Scallops 10 oz
  • Shrimp 10 oz
  • Cucumbers 0 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 0 oz
  • Breadcrumbs to taste
  • Egg white 2 pieces
  • Sodium glutamate 0 oz
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Clean the scallop meat from the shell and rinse it.

Step 2

If using dried scallops, note that their weight doubles after boiling. Therefore, the dried scallop meat should be pre-boiled until semi-cooked.

Step 3

Soak the cleaned shrimp and scallop meat in a mixture of salt and monosodium glutamate for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Cut the bell pepper and cucumber into pieces the size of the shrimp.

Step 5

Thread onto wooden skewers in the following order: a piece of cucumber, three pieces of scallop, a piece of bell pepper, three pieces of scallop, and so on.

Step 6

Do the same with the shrimp.

Step 7

Then dip everything in the egg whites and coat with breadcrumbs.

Step 8

Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
