Seafood in Cream Sauce Baked in Cocottes
Main Dishes • European
Description
It can also be served without baking as a sauce for spaghetti. It's very delicious too. In my case, it was a solution when the oven wasn't working. Guests noted that it turned out better than at a restaurant :)))
Ingredients
- Seafood cocktail 20 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Lemon ½ piece
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Spanish onions 1 head
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
- 10% cream 15 fl oz
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the seafood for about 3 minutes in salted water. Drain in a colander and add lemon juice.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add olive oil. Finely chop the onion and sauté until translucent. Add finely chopped garlic and sauté briefly. Sprinkle in the flour and mix quickly. Add the tomato paste and pour in the cream. Stir the sauce and simmer on low heat for 2–3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the seafood to the sauce, season with salt, and mix. Cook for another minute.
Step 4
Grease cocottes with olive oil, fill them with seafood, and sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake in the oven for 10–16 minutes at 390°F. As soon as an appetizing golden crust forms, remove!
