Description

If you don't have thyme or don't like it, you can substitute it with rosemary, parsley, or cilantro. Parsley has a strong aroma, so don't overdo it. You can also use dorado instead of sea bass.

Ingredients

  • Sea Bass 2 pieces
  • Lime 1 piece
  • Thyme 1 bunch
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Clean the sea bass and remove the insides, then dry the belly well with a paper towel.

Step 2

Place it on a paper towel and pat it dry on top with another paper towel so the fish is dry.

Step 3

Place a few sprigs of fresh thyme and a piece of lime inside each fish.

Step 4

Make shallow longitudinal cuts on the bodies every 1.5–2 cm, rub the fish with salt and pepper, and place it on a greased baking sheet or baking dish.

Step 5

Brush the fish with olive oil on top and place lime wedges on it.

Step 6

Bake for about 20 minutes. If the fish is not very large, you can reduce the baking time to 15 minutes. In this case, each sea bass weighs about 300–400 grams.

Step 7

Serve with potatoes, rice, or salad.
