Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the scallops: place frozen scallops in a bowl and leave them to thaw at room temperature so that all the beneficial substances they contain do not lose their properties. Once thawed, gently rinse them under running water and place them in salted boiling water. Boil for 3-5 minutes, then remove them and place them on a plate to cool. After that, slice them.
Step 2
Prepare the rice: cook the rice. This can be done in several ways, but I prefer to steam the rice, as it turns out very tasty and fluffy. Cooking rice in a pot: add rice to a pot with water in a 1:2 ratio. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cover tightly with a lid. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes, until the rice absorbs all the water.
Step 3
Prepare the mushrooms: rinse fresh champignon mushrooms under running water and remove their outer skin. Then boil them whole for 5-7 minutes in salted water. After that, remove them and let them cool. Slice them thinly.
Step 4
Mixing the ingredients: place the sliced mushrooms in a well-heated skillet with melted butter. Add the sliced onions and julienned bell pepper, season with spices, and sauté for about 10 minutes. Add flour to the mixture and gradually pour in the milk while stirring constantly. Simmer for about 3 minutes. Then add the scallop slices. Bring to a boil, sprinkle with herbs, and simmer for another minute.
Step 5
Check the dish: check all the ingredients for doneness and taste. When everything is ready, serve with boiled rice.
