Scallops in White Wine

Ingredients

  • Scallops 25 oz
  • Dry White Wine 10 fl oz
  • Butter 7 tablespoons
  • Shallot 3 pieces
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 2 tablespoons
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a pot, place the scallops, chopped shallots, and parsley. Pour in the wine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the butter.

Step 2

Bring to a boil. Simmer for 3–5 minutes. Remove the scallops from the pot.

Step 3

Continue to simmer the remaining mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally. When the sauce thickens and takes on an ivory color, remove the pot from the heat.

Step 4

Return the scallops to the pot with the sauce, mixing everything thoroughly. The dish is ready.
