Ingredients
- Butter 3 tablespoons
- Scallops 15 oz
- Fresh Mushrooms 10 oz
- Scallions 0 oz
- Cayenne Pepper a pinch
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Broth 10 oz
- Whipped Cream 5 fl oz
- Rice to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter in a large skillet over high heat. Season the scallops with salt and pepper and place them in the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 2
Reduce the heat to medium. Add the chopped mushrooms, 0.5 cup of chopped green onions, and cayenne pepper. Sauté for about 6 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with flour and cook for another 30 seconds. Then stir in the shellfish broth and cream. Cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens, about 10 minutes. Add the scallops and heat for 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Cook the rice and serve it on plates or bowls. Top with the scallops and sprinkle with the remaining green onions.
