Ingredients
- Sausages 9 pieces
- Butter 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Grated Ginger Root 2 teaspoons
- Onion 2 heads
- Red Curry Powder 3 teaspoons
- Garam Masala 1 teaspoon
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 teaspoons
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Bay leaf 2 pieces
- Chicken Broth 20 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the sausages in a pot, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Cut into 2 cm pieces.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over high heat and fry the sausages for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel.
Step 3
In the same pan, melt the butter, add the ginger, minced garlic, and onion. Sauté over medium heat for 5 minutes until the onion is soft. Add the curry powder and garam masala and cook for another minute, then add the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Add the flour, stir, and gradually pour in the broth. Bring to a boil, add the bay leaves and sausages, and simmer for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with spices and serve with mashed potatoes.
