Description

Salmon with Lemon, Baked in Grill Paper

Ingredients

  • Smoked haddock fillet 15 oz
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Dill 1 bunch
  • Scallions 1 bunch
  • Onion ½ piece
  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Citrus Zest Mix ½ teaspoon
  • Coarse Salt ½ tablespoon
  • Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Finely chop the green onion, dill, and onion.

Step 2

Mix the dill, onion, lemon zest, oil, salt, and pepper, and marinate the salmon fillet, cut in half into 2 portions, for 30 minutes. Do not remove the skin from the fillet.

Step 3

Soak the grill paper in water for 10-40 minutes.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Step 5

Cut the sheet of grill paper in half with scissors, across the grain of the wood.

Step 6

Slice the lemon into wedges about 5 mm thick.

Step 7

Grease the sheets of grill paper with oil and place the marinated pieces of salmon in the center, along the grain of the wood, skin side up. Place 1-2 lemon wedges on top.

Step 8

Wrap the sheets around the food and turn the rolls so that the seam is on the bottom.

Step 9

Place the rolls on a preheated pan or baking dish and put them in the oven.

Step 10

Bake for 15-20 minutes until light pink.
