Description
Salmon steaks with grapes and burnt butter
Ingredients
- Salmon 6 pieces
- Wheat Flour 4 spoons
- Olive Oil 3 spoons
- Butter 5 oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Almond 5 oz
- Grapefruits 20 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the flour with salt and pepper, then coat the salmon steaks in the mixture. Sear them on both sides in olive oil for about two minutes per side. Move to a warm place.
Step 2
In a saucepan, melt the butter and strain it to remove any white milk solids. Return the strained butter to the heat and cook it until it darkens to a caramel color. Then, add chopped almonds and halved grapes to the butter. Remove from heat and let it steep so that the butter absorbs the flavors of the almonds and grapes, then serve it alongside roasted salmon.
