Step 1
Rinse the rabbit, cut it into pieces, season with salt, and place it in a shallow pot or skillet, adding 2-3 tablespoons of oil. Sear the rabbit lightly on all sides. After that, place the pot in the oven and roast the rabbit until fully cooked, basting it with its juices and turning it every 10-15 minutes. Continue roasting for 30-40 minutes.
Step 2
When the rabbit is ready, cut it into portions, arrange on a serving dish, and add a few tablespoons of broth or water to the pot, bringing it to a boil. Strain the resulting juice and pour it over the rabbit.
Step 3
Serve with a side of roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, boiled rice, or buckwheat porridge.
