Roasted Brussels sprouts with garam masala
Ingredients
- Brussels Sprouts 15 oz
- Olive Oil to taste
- Garam Masala 3 teaspoons
- Cinnamon stick 1 piece
- Cardamom 1 tablespoon
- Cumin Seeds 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper 1 teaspoon
- Cloves 6 pieces
- Ground Nutmeg 1 teaspoon
- Grated Ginger 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
To prepare garam masala, grind all the spices together in a spice grinder or coffee grinder.
Step 2
Store in a jar with a tightly sealed lid.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the Brussels sprouts in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of oil, season well with salt, and add garam masala.
Step 4
Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a rimmed baking sheet and roast for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 5
Sprinkle with more garam masala. Store any leftover garam masala for no longer than 3 months.
