  • Long-Grain Rice 10 oz
  • Red Long Chili Peppers 1 piece
  • Sweet Pepper 1 piece
  • Bacon 5 oz
  • Pork Blood 10 oz
  • Spanish onions 1 head
  • Parsley 1 bunch
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Citrus Zest Mix ½ teaspoon
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the rice.

Step 2

In an enamel pot, bring 2 liters of water to a boil, add salt, add the rice, and cook over moderate heat for 7 minutes.

Then drain the water, cover the pot with a lid, and cook the porridge over low heat for another 5 minutes.

Step 4

Wash the sweet peppers, remove the stems and seeds, and cut into strips.

Cut the bacon into thin strips.

Rinse the pork fillet, dry it with a paper towel, and slice it.

Step 7

Peel the onion, wash it, and cut it into wedges.

Wash the parsley and chop it finely.

Fry the bacon in heated vegetable oil and remove it from the pan.

In the remaining fat, fry the pieces of meat, add the onion and sweet pepper, and fry for another 5 minutes.

Add the rice to the pan with the meat and vegetables, season with salt and pepper, add the lemon zest, include the bacon, and heat for 3 minutes.

Serve the finished porridge on plates and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
