Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice 10 oz
- Salt 1½ teaspoons
- Onion 5 oz
- Garlic 6 cloves
- Carrot 5 oz
- Pork Neck 15 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Frozen green bean pods 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
First, start boiling the rice in salted water. When it's ready, drain it in a colander. Any variety of long-grain rice will work.
Step 2
Cut the pork into cubes measuring 2–3 cm.
Step 3
Sear the meat in a hot skillet until a brown crust forms. Transfer the meat to a plate.
Step 4
In the fat left from frying the pork, lightly sauté (1–2 minutes) the finely chopped onion and minced garlic.
Step 5
Add the diced carrot and bell pepper, and include the green peas (fresh or frozen). Cook everything together, stirring, for 10–15 minutes.
Step 6
When the vegetables are soft, return the meat to the skillet and add the rice. Season with salt, stir, and cook for another 5–7 minutes.
