Ingredients

  • Rice 1½ cups
  • Veal 20 oz
  • Cranberry ½ cup
  • Turnips 3 pieces
  • Onion 2 heads
  • Vegetable Oil to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the rice well and soak it in salted water for 1 hour.

Step 2

Then drain the water and mix with the prepared cranberries.

Step 3

Cut the meat into small cubes and fry in hot oil until golden brown.

Step 4

Add the julienned carrots and chopped onion, and fry until the carrots are partially cooked.

Step 5

Distribute the meat with vegetables into prepared pots, and sprinkle the rice with cranberries on top.

Step 6

Season with salt and pepper, and pour boiling water so that the water is 1 cm above the surface of the rice.

Step 7

Place the pots in the oven, preheat to 390°F, and cook until done.
