Ingredients

  • Cilantro leaves 0 oz
  • Parsley leaves 0 oz
  • White Onion ¼ head
  • Minced garlic 1 clove
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil 1 teaspoon
  • Rice 1 cup
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Blend cilantro, parsley, onion, garlic, and 1.5 cups of water in a blender.

Step 2

Season with salt and pepper, and blend until smooth.

Step 3

In a medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat, add the rice, and stir well.

Step 4

You can add herbs if desired.

Step 5

Bring the rice to a boil, cover with a lid, and cook until all the water is absorbed.

Step 6

Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
