Rice with Chicken Thighs in the Oven
Ingredients
- Rice 5 oz
- Carrot 5 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Chicken Thighs 25 oz
- Bay leaf 2 pieces
- Ground Dried Garlic 2 teaspoons
- Allspice berries 4 pieces
- Chicken Seasoning 1 teaspoon
- Mixed Spicy Herbs to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a separate bowl, combine 2 teaspoons of ground dried garlic, salt, and mixed pepper to taste, along with 1 teaspoon of chicken seasoning, and mix all the spices well.
Step 2
Rub the spices onto the chicken thighs.
Step 3
Thoroughly rub the meat with the spices and let it marinate for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Pour 50 ml of vegetable oil into a baking dish.
Step 5
Peel the carrot, wash it well, dry it slightly, cut it into strips, and place it in the baking dish.
Step 6
Peel the onion, wash it well under running water, cut it into strips, and add it to the baking dish. Add 2 bay leaves.
Step 7
Wash the rice well under running water, place it in the baking dish, and add salt to taste.
Step 8
Place the marinated chicken thighs on top of the rice, pour 2 cups (200 ml each) of water into the dish, and add 4 whole allspice berries.
Step 9
Cover the dish with a lid or foil and place it in the oven.
Step 10
Bake the rice with meat in a preheated oven at 345°F for about 40 minutes.
