Rice with Chicken Hearts in a Sleeve
Ingredients
- Chicken hearts 15 oz
- Rice 1½ cups
- Sweet Red Onion 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Soy Sauce 5 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the onion and garlic. Rinse the chicken hearts, pour soy sauce over them, and add salt. Add the onion and minced garlic, and mix everything together.
Step 2
Marinate the hearts in this mixture for one hour.
Step 3
Place the hearts in a sleeve, pour the remaining marinade over them. Add rice, 2 cups of water, and salt if necessary.
Step 4
Seal the sleeve on both ends and make a few holes on the surface.
Step 5
Bake in the oven at 390°F for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with herbs on top.
