Rice with Carrots in Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
- Rice 2 cups
- Carrot 1 piece
- Pickled Chanterelles 10 oz
- Chopped Green Onions 2 tablespoons
- Sour Cream 5 tablespoons
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice and put it to cook. Peel the carrot, slice it into rings, and add it to the rice. Add salt.
Step 2
Wash the mushrooms, slice them, place them in a deep skillet, add water (half a cup), and simmer for 5 minutes. Add sour cream, butter, salt, and flour to the mushrooms, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat, add dill, and blend the mixture in a blender (not too finely).
Step 3
Pack the cooked rice into a small mold, turn it onto a plate, and pour the sauce over it.
