- Cardamom 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Long-Grain Rice 5 oz
- Coconut Milk 15 fl oz
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract ¼ teaspoon
- Shredded Coconut 0 oz
- Mango 1 piece
- Lime 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In salted boiling water, add cardamom, rice, and bring back to a boil. Cover with a lid and continue cooking on low heat for about 20 minutes, until the rice absorbs all the water.
Step 2
Stir the rice with coconut milk, sugar, and vanilla extract and continue cooking over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Serve the porridge on a plate and garnish with shredded coconut, lime, and pieces of mango.
