  • Fresh basil leaves to taste
  • Red Wine Vinegar 1 glass
  • Garlic 6 cloves
  • Habanero Pepper 1 piece
  • Salt to taste
  • White Pepper (whole) to taste
  • Olive Oil 2 spoons
  • Beef Tri-Tip 4 pieces

Step 1

In a food processor, chop and blend together the parsley, cilantro, oregano, vinegar, garlic, jalapeño, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 2 teaspoons of pepper. Gradually pour in 1/2 cup of olive oil. The sauce should be somewhat chunky. The chimichurri sauce is ready! Transfer it to a bowl.

Step 2

Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over high heat.

Step 3

Cook the steaks to your desired level of doneness. Once cooked, place the steaks on a plate and cover them with foil. Serve hot with chimichurri sauce.
