Ingredients
- Butter 2 pieces
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Rosemary 1 sprig
- Thyme 5 sprigs
- Beef Tri-Tip 10 oz
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Garlic 0 oz
- Ginger 0 oz
- Flaky sea salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Crush the peeled ginger and garlic with a chef's knife.
Step 2
Melt the olive oil and 1 piece of butter in a grill skillet.
Step 3
Add the garlic and ginger to the heated oil.
Step 4
Add the rosemary and thyme.
Step 5
Once the garlic and ginger are slightly browned, flip them.
Step 6
Place the steak in the skillet.
Step 7
Drizzle the steak with the aromatic oil.
Step 8
Slightly move the steak to create grill marks.
Step 9
Once the bottom side is nicely browned, flip the steak. Drizzle with aromatic oil. Cook until a golden crust forms over medium heat.
Step 10
Transfer the steak to foil, placing the ginger, garlic, and herbs on top.
Step 11
Add a piece of butter on top.
Step 12
Wrap the foil and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Step 13
Transfer to a plate, season with salt, and serve.
