Quinoa with Pork and Beans in Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- Pork Blood 10 oz
- Quinoa 1 cup
- Canned Baby Beets 1 can
- Crushed Tomatoes in Their Own Juice 1 can
- Onion 2 heads
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Paprika to taste
- Smoked salt to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the pork (or any meat) into small pieces and fry in vegetable oil until browned. Remove to a plate.
Step 2
Sauté the chopped onion. Add chopped bell pepper. Add chopped tomatoes.
Step 3
When all the vegetables are soft, add the meat, spices, a little water (approximately 200 ml), and simmer for 20-30 minutes until the meat is tender. At the end, add the canned beans and garlic, mix everything, and let it sit for a few more minutes.
Step 4
Cook the quinoa: 1 cup of quinoa to 2 cups of water. Cook for about 12-15 minutes.
Step 5
Serve the meat with quinoa.
