Ingredients

  • New Potatoes 0 lbs
  • Garlic 5 cloves
  • Paprika 0 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Do not peel young potatoes; simply scrub them under running water with a brush and cook them for 20 minutes.

Step 2

After 20 minutes, remove the potatoes (they should be slightly undercooked) and slice them into rounds about 0.5 cm thick.

Step 3

Heat a skillet (preferably not too thin) thoroughly and melt butter in it.

Step 4

To prevent the butter from burning too quickly, you can add a small amount of sunflower or olive oil on the tip of a knife.

Step 5

Place the potato slices onto a hot frying pan, squeeze in a few cloves of garlic, and sprinkle in half a packet of paprika. After a minute, reduce the heat. After another three minutes, flip the slices over. After another five minutes, they are ready to serve.

Step 6

Serve deliciously with unsweetened yogurt and finely chopped leeks.
