Ingredients
- Oranges 1 piece
- Lime 2 pieces
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Habanero Pepper 1 piece
- Chopped Green Onions ½ bunch
- Dried Rosemary ½ teaspoon
- Steaks 25 oz
- Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
- Onion 1 head
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the marinade, mix the zest and juice of the orange and limes, minced garlic, chili powder, cilantro, cumin, and oregano in a large bowl. Add the steak and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and let sit for at least one hour.
Step 2
Preheat the grill or grill pan to maximum temperature. Add a little vegetable oil. Remove the meat from the marinade and pat dry with a paper towel. Sear until golden brown on each side. Transfer the steak to a plate and set aside.
Step 3
Add more oil to the pan and sauté the chopped onion and thinly sliced bell peppers until golden, but ensure the peppers remain crisp. Transfer to a serving dish and set aside.
Step 4
Thinly slice the meat against the grain. Place it in the dish with the peppers. Season with salt and mix.
