Pumpkin with Cinnamon
Ingredients
- Pumpkin 5 lbs
- Rice 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Plums 5 oz
- Raisins 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Apple 5 oz
- Cinnamon to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the pumpkin thoroughly, cut off the top, remove the seeds and pulp with a spoon, and rinse the inside with cold water.
Step 2
Prepare the filling. Remove the seeds from the pulp, chop finely. Add partially cooked rice, raisins, pitted plums, finely chopped apples, cinnamon, and salt. Fill the pumpkin with the resulting mixture and tightly close it with the cut-off top.
Step 3
Place the pumpkin on a greased baking sheet and bake in a moderately heated oven until soft. If the top crust starts to burn, cover the pumpkin with foil or damp paper. Serve the pumpkin hot, cut into portions and drizzled with hot melted butter.
