Potatoes Baked with Cheese
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 55 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Garlic 6 cloves
- Cheese Spread 10 oz
- Cream (40%) 15 fl oz
- Milk 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the potatoes into thin chips (2–3 mm thick).
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté the onion in butter, then add the garlic and cook for about 1.5 minutes. Add the cream and milk and heat until hot (do not boil).
Step 3
In a greased baking tray, place half of the potatoes (season with salt and pepper), then half of the cheese, followed by the remaining potatoes (season with salt and pepper) and the remaining cheese. Pour the hot cream mixture over the top.
Step 4
Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 355°F. Then remove the foil and bake until golden brown.
