Potato casserole with mushrooms and cheese
Ingredients
- Fresh Mushrooms 10 oz
- Salad Potatoes 20 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Hard Cheese 5 oz
- Mayonnaise 1 jar
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sauté the mushrooms lightly (if fresh), or boil until cooked (boil the mushrooms for 30 minutes after boiling).
Step 2
Boil the potatoes until cooked. Slice the onion into half rings.
Step 3
Sauté in vegetable oil. Cool the potatoes, peel them, and slice them into rounds.
Step 4
Grate the cheese on a medium grater. In a baking dish (any dish will do — ceramic, clay, glass), layer half of the potatoes, sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. Spread with sour cream or mayonnaise.
Step 5
Layer the mushrooms, sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. Spread with sour cream.
Step 6
Layer the onion. Layer the remaining potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese.
Step 7
Place in the oven. Bake at 355°F for 30–35 minutes.
