Potato Casserole with Ground Meat in Bacon
Ingredients
- Onion 2 heads
- Salad Potatoes 0 lbs
- Ground meat 30 oz
- Hard Cheese 10 oz
- Bacon 10 oz
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Spices a pinch
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion, add half to the ground meat. Add the tomato paste, salt, spices, and mix.
Step 2
Take a baking dish and lay strips of bacon along the bottom, allowing the edges to hang over.
Step 3
Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater, squeeze out the juice, add the second half of the onion, salt, spices, flour, and mix.
Step 4
Place one part of the potatoes in the dish on top of the bacon, then sprinkle with grated cheese, then add the ground meat and cover with the remaining potatoes. After that, fold the bacon strips towards the center and sprinkle with cheese.
Step 5
Bake in the oven for 45–50 minutes at 375°F.
