- Bacon 10 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Butter to taste
- White Pepper (whole) to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and boil for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Mash the cooked potatoes, adding the cream. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Sauté the finely chopped garlic and onion in butter until golden.
Step 4
In another pan, fry the finely chopped bacon.
Step 5
Mix the mashed potatoes, 250 grams of bacon, and onion (set aside 50 grams of fried bacon).
Step 6
Place in baking dishes, sprinkle with Parmesan, and bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 355°F.
Step 7
Garnish the finished dish with the remaining bacon.
