Potato boats baked with bacon
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 10 pieces
- Bacon 5 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Butter 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Do not peel them. Cut in half.
Step 2
Cut the bacon into slices approximately 3x4 cm.
Step 3
Place the potatoes cut side up. Use toothpicks to attach the bacon to the potatoes, so the bacon resembles sails.
Step 4
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the resulting boats on the sheet.
Step 6
Put in a preheated oven at 200°C (about 400°F) for approximately half an hour.
Step 7
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and place a small piece of butter on each potato.
Step 8
Serve the dish hot.
