Potato Balls with Two Types of Cheese
Ingredients
- Potatoes 6 pieces
- Grated Parmesan cheese 5 oz
- Mozzarella Cheese 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Wheat Flour ½ cup
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the peeled potatoes in salted water. Grate the cooked potatoes on a fine grater and place them in a deep bowl.
Step 2
Add flour, pepper, and grated Parmesan to the grated potatoes. Mix well.
Step 3
Form the mixture into patties, approximately 6x6 cm.
Step 4
Cut the mozzarella into even cubes, about 2x2 cm. Wrap the cut cheese in the potato mixture, like a filling in dumplings.
Step 5
Place the formed balls (or rather cubes) in well-heated oil and keep them there until cooked. The balls should become golden, and the oil should be deep enough to fully submerge them, like in a deep fryer.
