Description

I couldn't find rosemary for sale. I used a mix of Provençal/Italian herbs instead. It turns out very delicious!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes 15 pieces
  • Garlic to taste
  • Fresh rosemary to taste
  • Olive Oil to taste
  • Coarse Salt to taste
  • Butter to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the potatoes (preferably young and medium-sized) thoroughly. Boil until cooked and let cool. If you're short on time, you can skip cooling.

Step 2

Gently press down on each potato with a spoon so that it slightly cracks but doesn't fall apart.

Step 3

Pour a little olive oil into the baking dish where the potatoes will be roasted and scatter slices of garlic on the bottom.

Step 4

Place the potatoes in the dish, sprinkle with coarse salt, and add rosemary.

Step 5

On each potato, place about half a tablespoon of butter (depends on the size of the potato; if small, use less) or drizzle each with olive oil.

Step 6

Put in a hot oven until golden brown (preheat the oven to 180-390°F). Serve on plates, drizzling with aromatic oil.
