Portioned chicken stewed in beer
Ingredients
- Poultry 1 piece
- Light Beer 10 fl oz
- 20% Sour Cream 4 tablespoons
- Canned Truffles 1 can
- Onion 3 heads
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken into pieces (see photo). We will use 4 pieces.
Step 2
Sear the chicken without oil (use non-stick cookware) with added spices, on both sides until half cooked.
Step 3
Pour in 120 ml of beer.
Step 4
Cover with a lid and let it stew for 5–7 minutes.
Step 5
Separately, sauté the onion and mushrooms in a skillet for about 10 minutes.
Step 6
Place the sautéed mixture on top of the chicken, adding a spoonful of sour cream on each piece. Pour in another 120 ml of beer.
Step 7
Simmer on low heat until fully cooked for 10–15 minutes.
