Portion Trout in a Skillet
Ingredients
- Golden Trout 1 piece
- Leek 0 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Lemon 0.3 pieces
- Olive Oil 1 teaspoon
- Butter 2 pieces
- Herbes de Provence 1 teaspoon
- Onion 1 piece
- Dry White Wine 0 fl oz
- Ocean salt 0.3 teaspoons
- Mild Chili Spice 0.3 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the leek into thick rings.
Step 2
Grate the lemon zest and garlic on a fine grater.
Step 3
Chop the onion into large pieces.
Step 4
Combine the zest, garlic, salt, and herbes de Provence in a deep bowl, add olive oil, and mix.
Step 5
Coat the outside of the gutted fish with the resulting mixture.
Step 6
Add the garlic mixture inside the fish as well.
Step 7
Add a piece of butter (1 piece).
Step 8
Insert the rings of leek.
Step 9
Secure with toothpicks.
Step 10
Place the fish on a hot skillet, adding a piece of butter.
Step 11
After 5 minutes, flip the fish and add the onion. Reduce the heat.
Step 12
Season with chili pepper.
Step 13
Pour in the wine and reduce the heat a bit more.
Step 14
Cover with a lid.
Step 15
After 5–7 minutes, it can be served. Transfer to a plate with the onion, adding a wedge of lemon.
