Pork with Oranges
Ingredients
- Pork Skewers 4 pieces
- Honey 1 tablespoon
- Oranges 1 piece
- Mustard Greens 1 teaspoon
- Rice 1 cup
- Melted Cheese 4 slices
- Soy Sauce ½ cup
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Lightly pound the pork chops and coat them on all sides with a mixture of honey, pepper, and mustard. Leave for at least half an hour (the longer, the better).
Step 2
Peel the orange and cut it into thin half-moons.
Step 3
Cook the rice in water with added soy sauce and salt.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish well with oil. Spread the rice in the dish. Place the pork chops on the rice, top with orange slices, and cover with cheese slices.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 355°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Cover the dish with foil and place it in the oven for half an hour. Remove the foil and bake until golden brown.
Step 6
Serve hot with a green salad.
