Description

Pork stew with bell peppers

Ingredients

  • Pork Blood 30 oz
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Orange Bell Peppers 3 pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Crushed Tomatoes in Their Own Juice 30 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the meat into small pieces. Slice the onion into half rings and the bell pepper into strips.

Step 2

In a heavy-bottomed pot, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over high heat. Sear the meat in 3–4 batches until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per batch. Transfer to a plate.

Step 3

Reduce the heat to medium. Add the onion to the pot. Sauté, stirring, for about 5 minutes.

Step 4

Add the bell pepper and sauté, stirring, for another 5 minutes.

Step 5

Return the meat to the pot, add the crushed tomatoes with their juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Pour in 250 ml of hot water.

Step 6

Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the flame to low, cover the pot with a lid, and simmer until the meat is tender, about 1 hour.
