Pork Steak with Mustard Sauce
Main Dishes • European
Description
A simple and reliable solution. Pork steaks are grilled in 10–15 minutes, and the mustard sauce takes about the same time to prepare. It combines a tender creaminess with straightforward spiciness — just what you need to turn an everyday dish into a memorable one.
Ingredients
- Garlic 1 head
- Spanish onions 1 head
- Mustard Greens 2 spoons
- Basil 0 oz
- Parsley 0 oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Chicken Broth 15 fl oz
- 33% Cream 5 fl oz
- Pork chop with bone 4 pieces
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat the butter and sauté the onion until softened, then add the garlic and cook until it becomes fragrant and nutty.
Step 2
Add 2 tablespoons of whole grain mustard to the onions and garlic, pour in white wine and broth. When the volume reduces by half, add cream and continue to simmer.
Step 3
While the sauce is cooking, preheat a grill pan and cook the pork steaks on it.
Step 4
Over medium heat, let the sauce reduce for 8–10 minutes until it reaches a creamy consistency. Then, add the finely chopped parsley and basil. Remove the sauce from the heat.
Step 5
Serve the meat generously drizzled with sauce and sprinkled with finely chopped parsley.
